Some of our key partners are Ministy of Social Affairs, Health Board and\u00a0 National Institute for Health Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Practical training of future health care professionals\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 the University has over 300 contracts with health care service providers all over Estonia. Through the high amount of practical training the students will achieve necessary skills in their field and will be prepared for their future career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Cooperation with high schools\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 the University is offering health care related courses to high schools all over the nation, this helps us to increase the health related knowledge of young people in an early age and promote career opportunities in health care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Promotion of health awareness\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 the University Competence Centre is organising many health events all year round, in order to increase the health awareness of the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tartu Applied Health Sciences University has been recognized as a significant health promoter by following institutions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ministry of Social Affairs &#8211; \u00a0recognition for excellent cooperation in year 2015.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tartu City \u2013 year 2015 promoter of health-conscious attitude and behaviour in community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estonian Hospitals Association &#8211; acknowledgement for the significant contribution in the development of the Estonian health care system and public health.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ministry of Defence &#8211; promoter of national defence and the organiser of a national defence programme for health care professionals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estonian Nurses Association &#8211;
