The aim is to support students professional development and in the same time to serve community to increase awareness in different health care fields.\u00a0Our vision is to be qualitative experience-based learning centre for students, life-long learning\u00a0centre for working specialists and evidence-based opinion leader and know-how centre for community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Competence Centre in Tartu Health Care College\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bXGZTyj04IQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Target groups are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Community<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Co-partners (schools, kindergartens)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specialists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lecturers\/office staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We are providing services as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>different massage sessions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>services for pregnant women, expectant families and families with newborn;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>therapeutic exercise sessions for different\u00a0interest group (geriatric, children, gravid, neurological problems);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>health promotion projects: hand-wash, teeth-wash courses;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the measurements of the health indicator;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>first aid (incl resuscitation training) courses;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>risk analysis services for enterprises;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sessions for families who take care of person with dementia;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>professional trainings in different fields;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>applied research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Structure of competence centre:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"704\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tartuh.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/kompetentsikeskuse_ENG_joonis-1024x704.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-727\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tartuh.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/kompetentsikeskuse_ENG_joonis-1024x704.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tartuh.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/kompetentsikeskuse_ENG_joonis-300x206.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tartuh.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/kompetentsikeskuse_ENG_joonis-768x528.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tartuh.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/kompetentsikeskuse_ENG_joonis-1536x1057.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.tartuh.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/kompetentsikeskuse_ENG_joonis-2048x1409.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We have very good cooperation with the Police and Border Guard Board (PBGB), schools and kindergartens all over the Estonia and\u00a0institutions like clinics and the Health Board. For PBGB we have organised health seminars in their work place,\u00a0analysed their psychological health aspects in the context of applied research and\u00a0provided them community service in our University. For example in 2017\/2018 we provided massage service\u00a0for the community 420 times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eWe are very grateful for the opportunity to work together with Competence Centre in Tartu Applied Health Sciences University. They have provided us massage, physiotherapy service and mental health counselling.
