(Just Transition Fund) Expanding Vocational Education Opportunities in Ida-Viru County

The aim of the project is to expand vocational education opportunities in Ida-Viru County, support local residents in developing professional skills, and improve their competitiveness in the labour market. 

As part of the project, Tartu Applied Health Sciences University delivers formal vocational education programmes for childminders (Level 5) and care workers (Level 4) in Ida-Viru County. These programmes help prepare qualified professionals for the childcare and social care sectors and improve access to vocational education in the region. 

The activities are implemented under the measure “Increasing the Volume of Continuing Education and Developing and Launching New Vocational and Higher Education Curricula in Ida-Viru County”. The activities are co-funded by the European Union through the Just Transition Fund.
