MELODIC

The MELODIC project aims to promote mental health and wellbeing of young adults (YA) with cancer and their family/caregivers by improving screening, early detection and efficient and person-centered management of mental health needs during the first year post-cancer diagnosis.

VLPN – Virtual Children´s Hospital for Learning Pediatric Nursing

The project VLPN´s aim is to develop an interactive virtual learning environment, a virtual children´s hospital to develop new learning and teaching methods and practices utilizing virtual reality and virtual simulation in teaching.

ERASMUS+ foreign exchanges

Tartu Applied Health Sciences University has participated in the ERASMUS program since the academic year of 2004/2005. Most of our university students use the opportunities of the program to complete an internship. At the moment, Tartu Applied Health Sciences University has about 70 partner universities across Europe as part of the Erasmus program.

The Development of Occupational Well-being

The aim of this project is to describe and evaluate health care teachers’ occupational well-being, develop the occupational well-being by community based developmental intervention​ and assess the impact of developmental intervention on health care teachers’ occupational well-being in health care colleges.

Welltour Network (Nordplus, 2023)

The aim of the project is to offer the students of the physiotherapy and nursing curriculum of Tartu Applied Health Sciences University the opportunity to take part in a multicultural elective course in order to develop knowledge in the fields of business, tourism and cosmetology.

The PERFECT project intends to tailor opportunities for pre-and in-service nurses through empowering them with sound language skills required for efficient care, stronger patient trust, and higher employability.

Learn4Green

Project Learn4Green aim is to create an international, collaborative, and multidisciplinary online course module which is focused on environment, sustainability and health, using blended and remote teaching methods.

Advanced Nursing Practice Education Network of the Nordic and Baltic Countries

The aim of the Network is to develop and implement further education module for educators involved with the NP programs and to support international master level studies activities of students and lecturers. During the project a new digital toolkit (“APN-Educators toolkit”) will be established.

Applied research on the healthiness of organic food (SekMo)

The aim of the project is to develop the curriculum of Environmental Health Specialist at Tartu Applied Health Sciences University. Applied research related to organic food is carried out within the project.

Physiotherapists´ job satisfaction and mental health (SekMo)

The aim of the project is to develop the curriculum of a physiotherapist at Tartu Applied Health Sciences University. In the course of the project, applied research is carried out, the analysis of the results of which will help students to cope better in their future working life.
