Preliminary Information About the Conference

This international event invites healthcare professionals, educators, students, and researchers to explore the ethical dimensions of interprofessional and international collaboration. Through keynote speeches, scientific presentations, symposia, and interactive workshops, participants will exchange experiences and research findings on how ethical reflection enhances collaboration, patient-centred care, professional integrity, healthcare education, and research.

The conference aims to foster dialogue bridging practice, education, and research, encouraging attendees to consider how ethical values and understanding influence collaborative efforts.

We warmly invite healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, and students to submit abstracts for oral presentations, poster sessions, and thematic workshops. The focus is on how ethical perspectives shape collaboration across various domains of practice, education, and healthcare research.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • Maximum length: 300 words
  • Clearly state the aim, methods, results, and conclusions (where applicable)
  • Indicate your preferred presentation format: oral presentation, poster, or workshop

  • During the conference week, we also aim to organize an intensive research ethics course for our cooperation partners. We hope this initiative will further strengthen our collaborative efforts and advance our shared project. More information will be available soon!
  • We kindly invite you to submit manuscripts to the Tartu University of Applied Sciences’ international peer-reviewed open access (freely available to the public) journal Healthy Body, Healthy Mind Full of Knowledge, which is published every two years and features innovative research findings in the field of healthcare and healthcare education. The deadline for submitting manuscripts is June 1, 2026. General guidelines for formatting manuscripts can be found here.
  • On November 20, it will be possible to visit Tartu University Hospital free of charge (Versio Vision, Robot Pepper and other robots, laboratory, operating room, children’s clinic) upon prior registration. More detailed information and registration will be available on March 1.
  • On the evening of November 20, 2026, Tartu Applied Health Sciences University will celebrate its 215th anniversary with a festive event at its campus (Nooruse 5, 50411 Tartu). Separate registration is required for the event.
