Podologist

A podologist is a specialist whose work is related to the foot’s health, maintenance, and restoration. Their tasks include assessing the condition of the foot, skin care, wound care, nail plate care and correction, recommending and creating orthotic devices, and providing advice on foot health, including hygiene.
Podologists who have completed their training are welcome to work in healthcare or social care institutions and private enterprises.
The curriculum consists of four basic modules:
- basics of podology
- podology specialties
- career planning and entrepreneurship
- practical training in the working environment
