ERASMUS+ foreign exchanges

Tartu Applied Health Sciences University has participated in the Erasmus+ programme since the 2004/2005 academic year. Erasmus+ provides students with opportunities to complete part of their studies or a traineeship abroad at a partner institution or other eligible organisation.

Most Tartu Applied Health Sciences University students participating in Erasmus+ mobility choose to complete a traineeship abroad. Recent graduates may also participate in an Erasmus+ traineeship, provided they are selected during their final year of studies and complete the traineeship within 12 months of graduation.

Erasmus+ also provides opportunities for academic and administrative staff to participate in teaching, training and job-shadowing activities abroad. In addition, students and staff can take part in short-term international activities, including Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs).

Erasmus+ participants can use Online Language Support (OLS) to improve their language skills before and during their mobility period.

Tartu Applied Health Sciences University currently has more than 70 Erasmus+ partner institutions across Europe, providing students and staff with a wide range of opportunities for international mobility and cooperation.

Tartu Applied Health Sciences University holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the 2021–2027 Erasmus+ programme period.

Tartu Applied Health Sciences University renewed the Erasmus+ higher education charter and the new period is 2021-2027.
