Inauguration ceremony of Jaan Looga, Rector of Tartu Applied Health Sciences University

The inauguration ceremony of Jaan Looga, Rector of Tartu Applied Health Sciences University, will take place on 11 June at 12:00 at the academic building of Tartu Applied Health Sciences University (Nooruse 5, Tartu).

Jaan Looga has worked at Tartu Applied Health Sciences University since 2019 as a development specialist, research coordinator and manager, and previously served as Executive Director of the Association of Local Authorities of Viljandi County. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tartu, where he also defended his doctoral degree.

Jaan Looga will take up the position of Rector on 1 June, with a term of office lasting five years.

Winter Opening Ceremony of TARTUH

On 2 February at 12:00, the winter opening ceremony of Tartu Applied Health Sciences University will take place. Students will begin their studies in the Nursing, Childminder (continuing education), and Emergency Medical Technician programmes.

Approximately 140 new students will commence their studies.

Winter Graduation Ceremonies of TARTUH

On 29 January, the winter graduation ceremonies of Tartu Applied Health Sciences University will take place:
– At 11:00, the graduation ceremony for graduates of the Nursing programme will be held.
– At 14:00, the graduation ceremony for graduates of the Midwifery, Biomedical Laboratory Science, and Radiography programmes, as well as the Master’s programme in Health Sciences, will take place.
