Gender-Balanced Educational and Career Opportunities in Healthcare

Project aim: The overall aim of the project is to reduce gender segregation in the healthcare sector by supporting more gender-balanced educational and career choices and by increasing the share of men in healthcare studies and professions. 

The project is carried out in close cooperation between Tartu Applied Health Sciences University and Tartu University Hospital in order to connect the perspectives of education and of the employer and to build a comprehensive understanding of the critical stages of entering and remaining in the healthcare field. Together, the partners analyse career choices and design solutions that support a more gender-balanced learning and clinical placement environment.
